A Change of Plans (FOX on January 8 at 8 p.m. EST/7 Central)
This week's blog is a plug for the above movie, though it concentrates mainly on "orphaned" children who have not been through the foster care system, and a couple's attempt to keep them out of "the system."
The review in the link (click on the title of this blog to see the review) is from a mother who adopted from foster care. I love it because the reviewer admits to being overwhelmed and represents the feelings of so many parents and parents-to-be.
It is my hope that in the New Year, more children availabile for adoption find loving, permanent homes. There are links on my page if you're interested in adopting a waiting child.
